My name is Dante Corsetti and I am a User ExperienceDesigner (UXD) with experience in Information Technologies (IT), Web Design, and a background in Graphic Design!
The first user experience problem I ever encountered was before I ever knew what UXD even was. I still remember sitting down to play Super Smash Bros. on the Game Cube when I realized that I thought the user interface was severely lacking. “This should go here, and that should be down there,” I thought as I tried navigating the clustered mess of an interface.
Once I formally discovered what UXD was, I was instantly hooked. I immediately knew I had to study it. As soon as I started at DePaul, I was obsessed with continuously trying to improve and hone my UXD, graphic design, computer science, and data science skills, all in the hopes that one day I could create impactful, empathetic experiences that improve the lives of users all over the world.
Outside of UXD and HCI, I am a very active person. After work or class, you can always catch me at the gym or playing games with friends! I have been powerlifting since 2023 and I love playing basketball or volleyball whenever I get the chance. Alongside the gym, I love gaming/ Esports. Some of my favorite games include Outer Wilds, VALORANT, and DOOM Eternal. Feel free to ask about any of my interests, as I love to engage with others and hear what they are into!
